How is Expanded Perlite Used?
Expanded perlite uses are so vast, many consumers are only a short distance away from something enhanced by the mineral, whether they know it or not, such as:
- Ceiling tiles
- Cryogenic insulation
- Decorative stone
- Filtration
- Fireplace chimneys
- Fire-rated door cores
- High-temperature insulation
- Joint compound, spackling
- Molten metal topping
- Specialty stoves
